PESHAWAR: Sialkot’s decision to bat first proved decisive after Lahore Blues captain Saad Nasim opted to field. The seven-time champions posted a commanding 210/4 in 20 overs, with Abdullah Shafique top-scoring with 57 from 31 balls, including six fours and three sixes.

Abdullah shared an 80-run third-wicket partnership with Hasan Nawaz, who contributed 41 off 28 deliveries, hitting three boundaries and two sixes. Middle-order batters Ahsan Hafeez Bhatti and Mohsin Riaz then finished in style, putting together an unbeaten 76-run stand. Bhatti smashed 47 not out from 17 balls with five fours and three sixes, while Mohsin contributed a steady 30 from 26 deliveries.

For Lahore Blues, Mohammad Rizwan and Hunain Shah picked up two wickets each.
