PCB Grants NOCs To Pakistan Players For Vitality Blast

PCB Grants NOCs To Pakistan Players For Vitality Blast

The Pakistan Cricket Board has signed off on a new round of approvals, with four players set to take different routes into overseas leagues. While it seems like a standard move on paper, the implications run deeper.

Under the latest PCB NOCs for Pakistan players, Sufiyan Muqeem, Mohammad Nawaz and Usama Mir are cleared for the Vitality T20 Blast. Different timelines, though. Sufiyan gets a short run from May 22 to June 7. Nawaz and Usama stay longer, stretching into mid and late July.

Players Availability Creates Selection Balance

That split matters. A short stint can sharpen rhythm, but a longer stay changes roles. Nawaz and Usama could become core picks for their counties. Sufiyan? More of a quick impact option. And yet, those brief spells often leave the loudest mark.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Abbas moves on a separate track. He also gets multiple approvals. County cricket blocks spread across months. April, May, June, then a return from August to September. It’s a clear red-ball focus, carefully managed, steady and deliberate.

Usama Mir isn’t new to this stage. His 2023 run with Worcestershire turned heads. Nineteen wickets, tight economy. You could sense the confidence building with every outing. Nawaz and Sufiyan step in fresh this time. They will face new conditions and new expectations.

Back home, the PSL 11 continues to roll. Zalmi, Sultans, Qalandars all juggling squads and the race to lead the PSL points table is not settling any soon.

And right there sits the bigger picture. The Pakistan players Vitality T20 Blast 2026 involvement isn’t just about exposure. It’s about timing, workload, and staying sharp across formats. The PCB NOCs for Pakistan players decision ties directly into that bigger calendar puzzle.

Everything shifted in an instant. With the Vitality Blast starting May 22, the clock is ticking. New teams, same stakes. Nothing promised, everything to play for.
