Karachi vs Lahore Live: Shaheen and Rauf Ignite Hope as Qalandars Strike Early in Low-Scoring Thriller

LAHORE – In a dramatic turnaround at the Gaddafi Stadium, the Lahore Qalandars’ bowling attack has reignited hope in the Match 6 clash of HBL PSL 11, dismantling the Karachi Kings’ top order in the opening stages of the second innings. Defending a meager target of 129, the Qalandars' pace spearheads utilized the early swing under lights to leave the Kings reeling and the home crowd in a frenzy.

Skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi set the tone in the third over, producing a signature inswinging delivery that trapped the dangerous David Warner. The early breakthrough immediately put the visitors on the back foot.

In the same over, Shaheen got the crucial wicket of Salman Agha. Haris Rauf, operating with express pace from the other end, further compounded Karachi's woes by maintaining a relentless line, nearly capturing Warner's wicket in a tense opening spell.

The Kings, who appeared comfortable after their dominant bowling performance earlier in the evening, now face a stern test of nerves against a rejuvenated Qalandars side. As the ball continues to nip around, the middle-order pairing of Warner and Moeen Ali must navigate this hostile period to prevent a total collapse.

With the current score at 27/1 after 6 overs, the match remains on a knife-edge.
