Karachi Kings Strengthen Squad With Moeen Ali Signing Ahead of PSL 11

Karachi Kings have roped in the experienced English all-rounder Moeen Ali for the PSL 2026 season. The franchise has secured the services of Moeen Ali with a direct pre-auction signing, indicating their move to strengthen the team with top T20 stars.

Moeen Ali has represented England in 68 Tests, 138 ODIs, and 92 T20Is, which highlights his vast experience at the international level. Keeping this in mind, Karachi Kings signed him for a mammoth Rs 64.4 million for the upcoming PSL edition.

"We're excited to announce England's explosive force, Moeen Ali, joining the [Kings Squad] for PKR 6.44 Crore in the HBL PSL 11! Let's create magic together," announced Karachi Kings through a social media post.

Last year, Moeen Ali expressed his clear intentions to play in the PSL 2026 season, as the league announced plans to add two news teams to the competition. Fans were expecting that Moeen could join a new franchise. However, Karachi Kings secured his services to build a formidable squad for the upcoming season.

"I'm really excited to be joining HBL PSL in its New Era. The league has earned a reputation for top-level T20 cricket, with high-quality competition and world-class talent across every team," said Moeen Ali in an Instagram post last year.

Interestingly, Moeen has previously played for Multan Sultans, with whom he won the title in 2021. He will now join Karachi Kings alongside Hasan Ali, Abbas Afridi, Khushdil Shah, and Saad Baig for the next PSL season.

Karachi Kings are now gearing up for the historic PSL auction, which will give them a chance to sign more high-profile players and strengthen the team’s chances in the upcoming season.
