Raphinha Hat-Trick Powers Barcelona To Big Win Over Racing Santandar in La Liga 2026

Barcelona produced a dominant attacking performance as they defeated Racing Santander 7-2 in La Liga 2026, with Raphinha completing a hat-trick and playing a key role in the emphatic victory.

The Catalan giants made a strong start to the match and took the lead in the eighth minute through Joao Cancelo. The early goal gave the hosts confidence as they looked to control the game and create more opportunities in the attacking third.

Raphinha then doubled Barcelona’s advantage in the 25th minute, converting a penalty to make it 2-0. Racing Santander responded quickly, with Maguette Gueye pulling one back just five minutes later to give the visitors hope of getting back into the contest.

However, Barcelona restored their two-goal advantage only six minutes after Racing’s response. Asier Villalibre scored an own goal in the 36th minute, allowing the hosts to regain control of the match.

Barcelona continued to push forward before the break, and Raphinha found the net again in the 42nd minute. His second goal of the night came just before half-time and gave Barcelona a 4-1 lead heading into the interval.

Racing Santander came out after the break looking to reduce the deficit once again. Their efforts paid off in the 65th minute when Yassir Zabiri scored to make it 4-2. The goal briefly gave the visitors renewed hope, but Barcelona responded almost immediately.

Raphinha completed his hat-trick in the 67th minute, restoring Barcelona’s three-goal cushion and putting the hosts firmly in control. The Brazilian forward's third goal capped a superb individual display and ensured that Racing Santander's comeback hopes were quickly ended.

Barcelona continued to dominate as the match entered its final stages. Gabriel Jesus added another goal in the 79th minute to make it 6-2, further extending the hosts' advantage.

Lamine Yamal then completed the scoring in the 89th minute, finding the net late in the game to seal a comprehensive 7-2 victory for Barcelona.

The result reflected Barcelona’s attacking dominance, particularly during the key periods when Racing Santander attempted to fight their way back into the match. Although Racing managed to score twice, Barcelona consistently responded whenever the visitors threatened to build momentum.

Raphinha was the central figure in Barcelona’s victory, scoring three times and helping the hosts maintain control after Racing had reduced the deficit on two occasions.

With seven goals scored, the Catalan giants wrapped up the match with a commanding victory over Racing Santander, underlining their attacking strength and maintaining their strong start to the La Liga campaign.
