The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the Zimbabwe women's national cricket team will tour Pakistan later this month for a six-match white-ball series, marking their first visit to the country. All fixtures will be staged at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, with matches spread across early and mid-May.
The series will include three ODIs followed by three T20Is, giving both sides a structured run of fixtures in one venue. Zimbabwe are expected to land on April 29, with a short preparation window scheduled before the opening match. Training sessions for both teams will take place in the days leading up to the first ODI.
The 50-over matches will be played on May 3, 6 and 9, forming part of the ongoing ICC Women’s Championship. Pakistan currently sit mid-table in the standings after their previous ODI assignment earlier this year.
The T20I leg will follow, with matches on May 12, 14 and 15. These fixtures will be held in the evening, offering Pakistan an opportunity to fine-tune combinations in the shortest format.
The upcoming series also fits into Pakistan’s build-up for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, scheduled to take place in England and Wales in June. The team is expected to use the Zimbabwe series to assess squad depth and match readiness.
Following the home assignment, Pakistan will travel to Ireland for a tri-nation T20I series involving the hosts and the West Indies women's national cricket team. That tournament is set to run from May 28 to June 4, offering further preparation ahead of the global event.
