Pakistan Keep West Indies Under Pressure Before Rain Stops Play on Day 1

Pakistan's bowlers made a solid start on Day 1 of the first Test, reducing the West Indies to 23/1 in 14.1 overs before rain stopped play in Trinidad.

West Indies chose to bat first but found it difficult to score freely. Mohammad Abbas gave Pakistan the first breakthrough by dismissing Brandon King for 12. Abbas bowled an excellent spell, giving away only 8 runs in seven overs.
