KARACHI: Karachi Kings are set to regain the services of Muhammad Waseem and Khuzaima Bin Tanveer ahead of their next PSL 11 fixture against Peshawar Zalmi at the National Bank Stadium on Thursday.
Team director Haider Azhar confirmed that both players are due to rejoin the squad on Tuesday after a short stint in the UAE. The pair had temporarily left the tournament following instructions from the Emirates Cricket Board to take part in a domestic 50-over competition.
Their return follows clearance from the board after completing part of their domestic commitments. Waseem has already featured in three matches this season, with scores of 0, 38 and 23, while Khuzaima is yet to appear in the current campaign.
Karachi Kings have made a strong start in PSL 11, winning all three of their matches so far. Led by David Warner, the side currently sit second on the table with a net run rate of 0.486.
The availability of both players provides additional depth to the squad as they prepare for a key phase of the tournament.
