The Road To The Final: UEFA Champions League 2025-26 Semi-Finals Confirmed

The season is nearing its end, and the biggest competitions are reaching their final stages, with key results now deciding who moves forward. The UEFA Champions League 2025-26 has also reached this point, with all quarterfinal matches now completed.

Atletico Madrid were the first team to book their place in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals after knocking out Barcelona. They surprised many with a 2-0 win in the first leg at Camp Nou, a game that saw Pau Cubarsi sent off in the first half, while Julian Álvarez and Sorloth scored the goals.

Barcelona went to the Metropolitano hoping to turn things around and managed to level the tie within 24 minutes through Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres. However, another red card, this time for Eric Garcia, along with a goal from Ademola Lookman, ended their hopes and knocked them out of the competition, which they have not won since 2015.

Arsenal will now face Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. Despite a dip in form recently, where they lost the Carabao Cup final and were knocked out of the FA Cup quarterfinals, they managed to secure a draw against Sporting CP in the recent tie.

Mikel Arteta’s side secured their place after a solid win at the Emirates Stadium, adding to their narrow first-leg victory away from home, where Kai Havertz scored the only goal.

Defending champions Paris Saint-Germain are once again in strong form at a crucial stage of the season. For the second year in a row, they knocked out Liverpool, who have struggled this season.

PSG won 2-0 in the first leg at the Parc des Princes with goals from Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and then followed it up with another 2-0 win at Anfield to seal a comfortable 4-0 aggregate victory.

They will now face Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, another strong contender for the title. Bayern won 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg through goals from Luis Diaz and Harry Kane, and then stopped Real Madrid from making a comeback at the Allianz Arena, setting up a big clash between two top teams.
