Pakistan’s recent ODI series against Bangladesh has brought encouraging developments in the latest ICC rankings, with several players making notable progress. Salman Ali Agha emerged as the standout performer, registering a significant jump in the batting rankings after delivering consistent performances in the middle order. His rise highlights Pakistan’s growing strength in the batting department beyond the top order.
Pakistan’s pace trio of Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Mohammad Wasim Jr made steady gains in the rankings, reflecting their strong impact in the series, despite a few minor drops elsewhere.

Pakistan’s pace attack showed encouraging improvement in the bowling rankings. Shaheen Shah Afridi moved up one place to 17th with 574 points, while Haris Rauf also climbed one spot to 19th. Mohammad Wasim Jr registered a slight improvement, moving to 64th with 446 points.
On the other hand, a few bowlers slipped in the rankings. Naseem Shah dropped four places to 40th, while spinner Abrar Ahmed also moved down four spots to 13th. Mohammad Nawaz faced a similar decline, slipping to 76th.
In the bowling rankings, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan continues to dominate as the top-ranked ODI bowler. England’s Jofra Archer holds second place, while South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj remains third.
