DUBAI: Pakistan's Sahibzada Farhan has made a significant leap in the latest ICC T20I rankings. He surged into the top five after some strong showings in the ongoing T20I tri-series with Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.

Farhan is the leading run-scorer in the series so far. He has 159 runs from three innings. His average is 79.50 with a strike rate of 157.42. This includes two half-centuries. His consistent run-making earned him 776 points. It pushed him up eight spots to fourth in the global T20I batting list.

Pakistan's main batter Babar Azam moved ahead too. He climbed five places to 29th with 572 points. He scored 90 runs in the tri-series. His strike rate was 116.88.

Saim Ayub remained steady after a good run. He kept his spot at 37th with 538 points. Mohammad Rizwan missed the series. He dropped five places to 46th with 514 points.

Fakhar Zaman, the left-hander, climbed three spots. He rose three spots to 57th. T20I captain Salman Ali Agha fell back seven places to 63rd.

India's Abhishek Sharma still tops the batting rankings. England's Phil Salt sits right behind him. India's Tilak Varma takes sixth.

Bowling Rankings:

Abrar Ahmed stays in eighth with 659 points. His teammate spinner Mohammad Nawaz shared the lead for wickets in the tri-series. He took seven. That effort jumped him 14 places to 13th with 638 points.

Shaheen Shah Afridi dropped four spots to 18th. Sufiyan Muqeem dropped four spots to 27th. Salman Mirza gained five positions to 38th with 532 points.

Haris Rauf fell seven places to 46th. Saim Ayub, who occasionally bowls, gets 51st. Faheem Ashraf made an impressive rise of nine spots to 53rd. Abbas Afridi dropped 11 places to 66th.

India's Varun Chakravarthy retains the top spot for T20I bowlers. New Zealand's Jacob Duffy follows. Afghanistan's Rashid Khan is in third.

All-rounder Rankings:

All-rounder rankings saw some shifts, too. Mohammad Nawaz moved up one to seventh. Faheem Ashraf dropped to 35th. Shaheen Afridi fell to 59th. Salman Ali Agha lost three places to 69th. Abbas Afridi dropped 6 spots to 81st.

Zimbabwe’s captain Sikandar Raza has now claimed the number one all-rounder spot. He passed Pakistan's Saim Ayub. West Indies' Roston Chase holds third.
