RawalPindiz vs Hyderabad Live: Kingsmen Suffers in Powerplay

The Hyderabad Kingsmen’s pursuit of 122 began with plenty of nerves as the Rawalpindi Pindiz seamers turned a chase into a gritty scrap. Knowing they had a small total to defend, the Pindiz bowlers attacked from the first ball, successfully rattling a top order that initially looked too eager to finish the game quickly.

Asif Afridi set the tone with a probing opening over, but it was the departure of Maaz Sadaqat that gave the Pindiz their first real surge of belief. The Pindiz bowlers, led by a disciplined spell from Asif Afridi (2/10 in just 3 overs), effectively dried up the boundaries, forcing the batters into risky singles and hurried decisions.

The phase ended with Marnus Labuschagne and Kusal Perera at the crease, tasked with calming a chase that had become unnecessarily frantic. 

While the Kingsmen still have the depth to see this through, the first six overs belonged to Rawalpindi’s grit, ensuring that this contest would be decided by composure rather than raw power.
