“Zalmi Next Gen” – Peshawar Unveils Bold New Jersey as Babar Azam’s Men Gear Up for PSL 11

Former champions Peshawar Zalmi have introduced a new jersey for the upcoming PSL 11, unveiling what they describe as a “Next Gen” jersey through their official social media platforms. The announcement comes days before the start of the Pakistan Super League season.

The updated design features a mix of neon shades and electric gradients layered over a hexagonal pattern. The franchise said the concept reflects a connection with digital design trends and younger audiences.

“Presenting the “𝐙𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐢 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧” Jerseys for #HBLPSL11.

Knitted with a bold fusion of neon & electric gradients and a hexagonal matrix, which is very tactically designed to reflect the art of digital illustration and the fearless, energetic colors of generationZ,” the video caption stated.

Design Changes and Kit Lineup

While the base colour remains consistent with the team’s traditional identity, the new kit introduces brighter tones and contrasting highlights. The franchise has retained its black away strip, while also adding a green training jersey to its lineup for the season.

The design direction signals a shift in presentation, with the team focusing on modern visual elements alongside its established branding.

The team is scheduled to play a home match at the Imran Khan Stadium. This is the first time the venue will host a Pakistan Super League fixture. The match is set for March 28, when Peshawar Zalmi will face Rawalpindi in an afternoon game. The fixture is expected to draw local interest as Peshawar hosts its first PSL contest.

Babar Azam will lead the side, with the squad featuring a mix of local and overseas players.
