The franchise confirmed the move through their official social media channels, greeting the pacer with an energetic message: “The storm just levelled up. Let’s welcome England’s express pacer Tymal Mills to the Yellow Storm.”
With PSL 11 scheduled to run from March 26 to May 3, Zalmi are wasting no time in fine-tuning their lineup. Mills’ arrival adds valuable experience and variety to their pace attack, particularly with his left-arm angle and death-over expertise.
Mills is not new to the Zalmi camp. He previously represented the franchise in the third edition of the tournament, where he featured in five matches and claimed seven wickets at an impressive economy rate of 7.21.
Across his PSL career, the England pacer has appeared in 30 matches, taking 37 wickets at an economy of 8.41. He also played the last two seasons with Islamabad United, bringing further league experience into the Zalmi setup. His familiarity with local conditions could prove crucial as the competition intensifies.
Mills becomes Zalmi’s second direct acquisition for PSL 11. Earlier, Australian all-rounder Aaron Hardie was brought in as a replacement for Afghanistan wicketkeeper batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who withdrew from the tournament.
With a blend of international stars and local talent, Zalmi appear determined to mount a strong campaign in the upcoming PSL 11 season.
The squad includes Babar Azam, Sufiyan Muqeem, Abdul Samad, Ali Raza, Aaron Hardie, Aamir Jamal, Mohammad Haris, Khalid Usman, Abdul Subhan, James Vince, Michael Bracewell, Kusal Mendis, Iftikhar Ahmed, Nahid Rana, Mirza Tahir Baig and Tymal Mills.
