The Netherlands opened the scoring in the 5th minute with a quick move involving just seven passes. Brobbey brought down a long ball from goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen, passed it to Gakpo on the left, and then ran into the box to finish Gakpo’s low cross.

Brobbey scored again 12 minutes later, poking in a low cross from Denzel Dumfries after getting ahead of defender Isak Hien.
