Australian star David Warner is in a high-profile deal with Karachi Kings worth PKR 7.9 crore. The veteran left-hander was the franchise captain in PSL 10 and one of their dependable players.
Warner recorded a strike rate of 153.97, scoring 368 runs in 11 innings at an average of 33.45 last season. His aggressive top-order batting provided the team with strong momentum at the right time and the franchise will depend on him to anchor the batting lineup again.
The Kings have also secured wicketkeeper-batter Azam Khan in a second key signing for PKR 3.25 crore. Azam is known to have explosive hits, and began his PSL career with Quetta Gladiators before moving to Islamabad United. In 61 PSL games, he has accumulated 1,206 runs at a strike rate of 143.40.
In addition to his batting, Azam has also been reliable behind the stumps. He has also taken 27 catches and completed seven stumpings, which have strengthened Karachi’s wicketkeeping options and added balance to the side.
Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha was another headline signing, joining the Kings for PKR 5.85 crore. Currently leading the national team in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, Salman brings valuable leadership and middle-order stability.
Over 36 PSL matches, he has accumulated 730 runs and taken 4 wickets, showcasing his all-round utility. His prior experience with Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United adds further depth to the squad’s knowledge base.
Before the PSL 11 Player Auction, Karachi Kings had already secured key players, including Hasan Ali in the Platinum category, Mohammad Abbas Afridi in Diamond, Khushdil Shah in Gold, and Saad Baig as Emerging. The franchise also enhanced its options with the direct signing of an England all-rounder.
With a refreshed lineup blending international experience and domestic talent, Karachi Kings appear determined to mount a serious title challenge in PSL 11.
