David Warner Shares Reaction To Imam-ul-Haq's Latest Training Clip

David Warner has reacted to a training video featuring Pakistan opener Imam-ul-Haq as the batter continues to recover from a calf problem. The injury happened while Imam was fielding on the opening day. He was later diagnosed with a low-grade calf strain and did not come out to bat when Pakistan's innings began.

Imam's absence became a major talking point, with many questioning why he did not bat despite Pakistan needing a strong performance to stay alive in the series. England eventually secured a 180-run first-innings lead, leaving Pakistan in a difficult position in the must-win Test.

The Pakistan opener was seen again on the training ground on the fourth day. Wearing shorts with tape around his injured leg, Imam appeared to be struggling with his movement as he walked with a limp during the session.

Former England fast bowler Stuart Broad questioned Imam's training session during the pre-match analysis. He said it "was all for show" and added that Imam could have continued his recovery away from the cameras if the injury was really serious.

"That's all for show. He's had a bit of stick from the media, maybe teammates, whatever. You can do that in an indoor school without anyone seeing. You don't have to wear shorts and a bit of tape and hobble around like that. I'm sorry, I'm not that impressed with that," said former England pacer, Stuart Broad.

The training clip soon became a talking point on social media after Broad's comments. Imam was shown doing exercises with his injured leg covered, but the video led to even more questions from fans about whether he was fit enough to bat.

Warner then added to the discussion on social media. The former Australian opener curiously asked if Imam had batted for Pakistan after being seen training. His comments brought more attention to Imam who has now been called back to the country by the PCB.

"Did he come out and bat after all this??" Warner questioned as he retweeted the clip featuring Imam training in the ground.

The latest controversy has added to the problems of the Pakistan Test team, which is reeling from two back-to-back defeats in the England series. It would be interesting to see how the green shirts will bounce back in the last match, which is scheduled to be played in Birmingham from September 9.
