Asia Cup 2025 Trophy Officially Revealed in Dubai

On Tuesday night, Dubai was in the limelight while the Asia Cup 2025 trophy was unveiled to the world. ACC president Mohsin Naqvi, accompanied by captains of all eight participating teams, unveiled the golden trophy that all sides are vying to win. 

This edition returns in the fast-paced T20 format, a perfect warm-up before the 2026 T20 World Cup. The group stage is set:

• Group A: India, Pakistan, Oman, UAE
• Group B: Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Hong Kong

The first match between Afghanistan and Hong Kong was played last night and Afghanistan secured their first victory of the tournament. However, the real blockbuster is circled on every fan’s calendar. It is India vs Pakistan on September 14. If everything goes well for both teams, we may see them clash again in the Super Four, or even the final. 

The commentary box is equally stacked. Legends like Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri, and VVS Laxman will bring the action to life. Hindi commentary panel features Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, and Ajay Jadeja.
