“No Mystery, Just Clarity” – Zampa Breaks Down the Key to His Consistent Performances

Adam Zampa played a key role for Karachi Kings to win the recent PSL clash against Lahore Qalandars. His spin bowling proved instrumental for the team in dismantling Lahore, which looked out of touch in the last match at the Gaddafi Stadium.

Zampa was named Player of the Match for his impressive figures of 2-11 in four overs, including a maiden, which helped keep Lahore Qalandars to a low total.

Speaking after the match, Adam Zampa said that the wicket was a bit slow, which is why he adjusted his line and lengths to make batting difficult for the Qalandars batters.

“I guess just summing up the wicket today. I think it was a pretty used wicket, lowish, slowish, with a little bit of spin. So I tried to use my strengths as much as possible, hit the stumps, and get the ball to slide on here and there as well. So it suited me.” said Adam Zampa after the match.

He then highlighted the importance of understanding conditions in T20 matches, saying it always helps to come up with a precise bowling plan that can produce positive results.

“I think it’s part of becoming a universal bowler, summing up the conditions. I’ve played here plenty of times, and you know when it’s used. After a couple of balls, you can kind of sum up the best way to go about it. You tend to keep things pretty simple.” said Adam Zampa.

Zampa then said that his consistent performances are not due to any mystery, but because of having clarity in his bowling plans.

“I guess it’s just using experience now. I know what I’m doing when I get out there. I’ve got a lot of clarity in my mind. There’s not really a mystery to my bowling, but I think it’s more about knowing what works in different situations.” said Adam Zampa.
