12 Players Featured in PSL 11 Emerging Team of the Tournament

LAHORE: The PSL 11 Emerging Team of the Tournament has been announced, with young players from across franchises recognised for their performances in the latest edition of the Pakistan Super League. Sameer Minhas of Islamabad United has been named as one of the standout performers after finishing as the leading run-scorer among emerging players.

Minhas accumulated 349 runs during the season at a strike rate of 155.80, anchoring the batting group. He is joined in the top order by Shamyl Hussain of Quetta Gladiators and Maaz Sadaqat, who represented Hyderabad Kingsmen. Mirza Saad Baig of Karachi Kings has been selected as the wicketkeeper.

All-round Contributions and Fielding Impact

Farhan Yousuf of Peshawar Zalmi has been included following a consistent season, highlighted by his fielding contributions. The youngster, who captained Pakistan at the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026, impressed across departments. Saad Masood has also secured a place for his role as a middle-order all-rounder.

Bowling Unit Features Variety

The bowling attack reflects a mix of pace and spin options. Hunain Shah of Hyderabad Kingsmen earned selection after also featuring in the main Team of the Tournament. Ali Raza, representing Peshawar Zalmi, was included after claiming the only hat-trick of PSL 11.

Supporting them are Mohammad Ismail and Momin Qamar from Multan Sultans, along with Ubaid Shah of Lahore Qalandars, completing the bowling lineup.

Mohammad Farooq of Lahore Qalandars has been named as the 12th player after contributing 87 runs in limited appearances, including a half-century.
