All-rounder&nbsp;Salman Ali Agha&nbsp;has put an end to swirling rumors that he might be appointed as Pakistan&rsquo;s next&nbsp;ODI captain, amid claims he could replace Mohammad Rizwan across formats.

In a press briefing ahead of the Bangladesh tour, Agha said: &ldquo;I&rsquo;m focused on contributing as a player and leader in T20s. ODI captaincy isn&rsquo;t something I&rsquo;m discussing right now.&rdquo; He emphasised that his priority is to support Rizwan in the 50-over side and help build a strong white-ball unit.

The rumors stem from ongoing leadership reshuffles by the&nbsp;PCB, which recently replaced Rizwan as T20 captain with Agha, who led Pakistan to victory against Zimbabwe and the New Zealand series. Sources suggest the board is weighing giving him full-time captaincy across formats.

Meanwhile, veteran Tanvir Ahmed criticized the possibility of passing all formats to Agha, citing his moderate T20 strike rate and questioning the selection logic. However, Agha&rsquo;s&nbsp;&nbsp;brand has won praise from coach Aqib Javed.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the first group left early Tuesday morning from Lahore, while the second group is scheduled to fly out later in the evening. Both groups are expected to arrive in&nbsp;Dhaka&nbsp;by late Wednesday, giving the full squad at least two days to train together before the series kicks off.

The division travel plan was said to have been caused by the fact that the flights were available and the players&#39; responsibilities, as some of them have already come back to finish various international or domestic engagements.

Pakistan will host three T20Is against Bangladesh, in their lead-up to the upcoming Champions Trophy, as well as momentum, ahead of the T20 World Cup. July 19 is likely to host the first match of the series.

The touring squad includes senior players like&nbsp;Babar Azam,&nbsp;Shadab Khan,&nbsp;Shaheen Shah Afridi, and rising stars such as&nbsp;Hassan Nawaz&nbsp;and&nbsp;Abrar Ahmed. Team management, including head coach&nbsp;Gary Kirsten, is also accompanying the players, and a short training camp will be held once the full squad assembles in Dhaka.

&nbsp;that&nbsp;all players cleared fitness tests&nbsp;and are travelling without injury concerns. &ldquo;The squad is fully fit and looking forward to a strong performance in Bangladesh,&rdquo; he said.
