Pakistan has named their Women's World Cup 2025 squad with seven players playing in the tournament for the first time. All-rounder Fatima Sana will lead the team, and wicketkeeper-batter Muneeba Ali has been made a vice-captain.

Here is the list of all 7 debutants:

  • Eyman Fatima – top-order batter
  • Natalia Parvaiz – middle-order batter
  • Rameen Shamim – off-spin all-rounder
  • Sadaf Shamas – batting all-rounder
  • Sadia Iqbal – left-arm spinner
  • Shawaal Zulfiqar – opener
  • Syeda Aroob Shah – leg-spinner

Their inclusion will bring a lot of youthful energy to a team that already boasts of experience of Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, and Nashra Sundhu. Pakistan selectors have combined age with experience as they get ready to face a difficult tour of Sri Lanka.

The national squad will play three ODIs in South Africa before the 2019 World Cup in Lahore (September 16 to 22) and a 14-day camp to adjust the preparation. Pakistan will be taking the first step of their World Cup on October 2 against Bangladesh in Colombo.
