Why aren't fans of the PSL in Karachi attending matches? Wasim Akram clarifies

Wasim Akram, the renowned cricket player from Pakistan, disclosed the cause of the low attendance at the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 matches in Karachi.

National Bank Stadium in Karachi has already hosted two PSL 2024 matches. In contrast to Lahore and Multan, the attendance was comparatively modest despite the fixtures' interesting events.

The Pavilion Team Responds

A video showing the "The Pavilion" team returning without viewing the game due to traffic and security measures was released by Fakhar-e-Alam, the host of the A Sports show "The Pavilion," which features renowned cricketers Wasim Akram, Misbah-ul-Haq, and Azhar Ali as panelists.

Wasim Akram added that they were stuck in traffic for ninety minutes before returning to the studios because they were unable to make it to the National Bank Stadium, where they were supposed to watch the game.

The famous cricket player mockingly claimed that containers are thought to be the perfect answer to issues. Additionally, he said that they now know why there hasn't been a lot of attendance.

In the caption, Fakhar-e-Alam claimed that despite their best efforts, they had a horrible time getting to National Stadium Karachi.

“No defined routes anywhere and every side we tried was closed off with containers causing massive traffic congestion,” he stated. “Authorities are requested to make a sensible traffic flow plan. This is why crowds are missing in Karachi. Most people just can’t get to the stadium."
