How India Reached The Asian Games Final

India arrived in the final after a dominant performance against Sri Lanka.

Batting first, India posted 169/7 from their 20 overs. Ishan Kishan played the key innings, smashing an unbeaten 80 from 46 balls, while Vaibhav Sooryavanshi added 38 from 21 deliveries.

Sri Lanka's response lasted only 9.5 overs. India's bowlers ripped through the batting order and dismissed them for 45, completing a huge 124-run victory. Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel took two wickets each, while Abhishek Sharma also claimed two wickets.

That result gave India a powerful finish to their semi-final campaign and sent them into the gold-medal match against Pakistan.

How Pakistan Reached The Final

Pakistan's route was much tighter.

Their semi-final against Bangladesh was reduced to 13 overs per side because of rain. Bangladesh made 111/7, with Tawhid Hridoy scoring 42 from 25 balls.

Pakistan's chase then became uncomfortable at 53/4. Abdul Samad changed the momentum with an unbeaten 30 from 15 balls, while Hasan Nawaz stayed alongside him with 27 not out.

The pair added an unbeaten 59-run partnership as Pakistan reached 112/4 in 11.3 overs to win by six wickets. Sufiyan Muqeem had earlier played a major role with the ball, taking 3/26.

India vs Pakistan Final Sets Up A Major Asian Games Clash
