Pakistan got absolutely thrashed yesterday in the series decider against the West Indies. Like, properly embarrassed. West Indies won by 202 runs, which is just sick when you think about it.

The whole thing started when Pakistan decided to bowl first. Big mistake. The Windies boys were in the mood and smashed it from the get-go. Their openers weren’t messing about—just picking gaps, running hard between wickets, the usual stuff—but they did it really well.

Pakistan’s bowling was shocking, honestly. Not sure what happened, because they hadn’t been that bad in the other games. But today, they were spraying it everywhere. Too many easy runs, not enough dot balls. Once the Windies got their eye in, it was game over.

They ended up making 294. Not a massive total, but it was always going to be enough given how Pakistan was bowling. The crowd was loving every minute of it too.

Then Pakistan came out to bat, and their body language said it all. What a disaster. Right from the first over, they looked clueless. The ball was moving a bit more than earlier, and the West Indies fast bowlers were right on it—proper hostile stuff, getting it up around the chest, making life difficult.

Pakistan’s top order just crumbled. One after another, wickets kept falling to poor shots or just playing and missing. Nobody looked comfortable out there. Honestly, it was painful to watch at times.

They got bowled out for 92. Ninety-two! In an ODI! That’s embarrassing for an international side. Only one player even made 20, which tells you everything about how bad it was.

Feel a bit sorry for Pakistan fans who stayed up to watch that mess. After winning the second game, you thought they might do something in the decider—but nope. They got absolutely schooled.

The West Indies will be buzzing. They haven’t won many series lately, so this one will mean a lot. When they’re on it like this, they can beat anyone—but consistency is their problem. One day, they play like world-beaters; the next, they collapse for nothing.

Still, today at least, they can enjoy smashing Pakistan and taking the series. The fans certainly were—they went mental every time another wicket fell.

Pakistan needs to figure out what went wrong, and fast. That batting performance just wasn’t good enough for international cricket. Against stronger teams, it would have been even worse.

But that’s cricket for you. One day you’re heroes, the next day you’re zeros. Pakistan will probably come back stronger, but right now, they must be feeling pretty low about the whole thing.
