England are currently down in the Ashes with a score line of 2-0, however they still have the capacity to bounce back in the upcoming matches. The former captain of Australia, Tim Paine, is well aware of this fact, which is why he has cautioned everyone not to write off England from the Ashes completely. Being a former captain, he understands the strong points of England, so he urged the team not to take them lightly at this stage.

Tim Paine also said that England made too many mistakes in the last two matches, which added extra pressure on them. He expects England to learn from those mistakes and come back strongly in the Adelaide test.

"England, at times, are probably giving them opportunities they shouldn't. It's like Australia are just playing the percentages really well and England are making the same mistakes.” said former Australia test captain, Tim Paine.

He then said that England are still a very dangerous team capable of turning the series around. Talking about the next test at Adelaide Oval, he said it is one of those grounds where England would feel more comfortable. Therefore, it is going to be an exciting contest in which the visitors could come up with a strong performance to challenge Australia.

"Having said that, I think if England get it right, they're going to be really dangerous. If there's any wicket and ground in the country that suits them more than this, I don't think there is one - so there will be a fascinating Test match." said Tim Paine while talking to the reporters.

The former Australia captain said that the series so far has been very entertaining, giving fans a great experience of quality cricket. He added that both teams are sticking to their strengths at the moment, which shows the trust they have in their overall approach.

"Even though the Test matches have been quick, they've been thoroughly entertaining, at times humorous, depending on who you support. But I love the way both teams are going about it. They're sticking to their guns.” said Tim Paine.

He then appreciated England for backing their approach even after losing back-to-back matches. The former captain also said that teams have the right to spend their breaks between the matches as the way they want. He added that people should only focus on the results, as that is the only thing that truly matters in this series.

"England aren't backing down from their attacking approach and their laid-back approach, as you can see by the time they've spent up in Noosa this week. But at the end of the day, both teams are judged on the results and what you do between Tests is a bit irrelevant." said Tim Paine.

Tim Paine Backs England’s Ultra-Aggressive Approach

Speaking about the ultra-aggressive approach of England, Tim Paine said that it is quite enjoyable to watch. Though being an Aussie, he doesn’t mind seeing England get bashed on the field, but their approach to take on the opposition is still entertaining.

"I don't mind ripping into them, like most Australians, but I enjoy watching them play. It hasn't worked out for them yet in Australia ... but I really enjoy what they're trying to do, the mindset around it, and freeing players up to play their best. There is a lot of talented players playing first-class cricket and Test cricket who can't get into that sweet spot so I like where they're heading with it." said Tim Paine.

England and Australia will face each other in the third test at Adelaide on December 17. It will be interesting to see how England turn up for this match, as they have already lost the first two games of the series. The visitors have also lost Mark Wood due to injury, so fans can expect new faces in England’s bowling lineup for the upcoming match.
