ICC Confirmed the Star-Studded Commentary Panel For Women's T20 World Cup
ICC has confirmed the commentary panel for Women's T20 World Cup 2026. It assembled a group of former players, broadcasters and presenters to cover the tournament in England from June 12 to July 5.
The event will feature 33 matches, beginning with England's opening fixture against Sri Lanka and ending with the final at Lord's. Coverage will be led by a diverse broadcast team that combines experience from both the women's and men's international games.
Several former champions are included in the Women's T20 World Cup commentary panel, bringing direct experience from World Cup-winning campaigns. Australia’s Mel Jones and Julia Price, former West Indies player Stacy-Ann King, and England World Cup winners Isa Guha and Ebony Rainford-Brent are among those selected to provide analysis throughout the tournament.
The panel also includes a number of familiar names from global cricket broadcasting. Nasser Hussain, Ian Bishop and Ian Smith, all established voices in major ICC events, have been named in the lineup. The trio have covered some of the sport's biggest moments and will return for another global tournament in England.
Former international captains and senior players from across the cricketing world have also been included. Mithali Raj, Sana Mir, Anjum Chopra, Veda Krishnamurthy, Tash Farrant, Isobel Joyce, Simon Doull, and Katey Martin will contribute match analysis and expert opinion during the competition.
Experience from the men's game is also represented. Matthew Hayden, a two-time ICC Men's Cricket World Cup winner, joins former India wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik and former West Indies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite, both of whom have been part of title-winning T20 World Cup squads.
The broader broadcast team features Charles Dagnall, Natalie Germanos, Alan Wilkins, Laura McGoldrick, Jatin Sapru, Kass Naidoo, Raunak Kapoor and Ali Mitchell. The group will share commentary, hosting and presentation duties across the tournament.
The announcement reflects the ICC's continued focus on elevating women's cricket through high-profile global events and specialist coverage. The Women's T20 World Cup commentary panel will guide audiences through every stage of the competition, from the opening match to the final at Lord's.
