Spain vs Belgium Live FIFA World Cup 2026: Charles Strikes Back for Belgium

Belgium have drawn level against Spain in the first half of their FIFA World Cup quarter-final after Charles De Ketelaere scored the equalizer in the 41st minute.

Spain had gone in front through Fabian Ruiz, who opened the scoring in the 30th minute after a strong spell of possession. However, Belgium responded well before the break and found the breakthrough when De Ketelaere finished a well-worked move to make it 1-1.

The equalizer has changed the momentum of the contest, with Belgium showing great determination after falling behind. Spain, meanwhile, will be disappointed to have lost their lead after controlling large parts of the first half.

With the score now level at 1-1, both teams head towards half-time knowing that a place in the FIFA World Cup semi-finals is still up for grabs.
