Yamal Strikes as Spain Has Taken An Early Lead in World Cup Clash Against Saudi Arabia

ATLANTA: Spain has taken an early 1-0 lead over Saudi Arabia in their crucial Group H clash at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, due to a moment of magic from teenage sensation Lamine Yamal.

The breakthrough came in just the 10th minute of play at the Atlanta Stadium. After a period of intense early pressure, Spain's patience paid off. Midfielder Mikel Oyarzabal found space on the edge of the penalty area and delivered a perfectly weighted pass into the path of Yamal.
