LAHORE: The Pakistan Super League has finalised match timings for its upcoming season, with the 11th edition scheduled to run from March 26 to May 3. Day games in PSL 11 will begin at 2:30 PM, while evening fixtures are set for a 7:00 PM start, both in Pakistan Standard Time.
The tournament will open at the Gaddafi Stadium, where defending champions Lahore Qalandars face new entrants Hyderabad Kingsmen. Unlike regular night matches, the opening game has been scheduled for an 8:00 PM start.
For the first time, the league will feature eight teams, with RawalPindiz and Hyderabad Kingsmen joining the competition. A total of 44 matches will be played across 39 days, with each side playing 10 league games.
The top four teams will move into the playoffs, which include Qualifier 1, Eliminator, and Qualifier 2, before the final. The title decider is set for May 3 in Lahore, with a reserve day allocated on May 4.
Matches will be staged across six venues, including two new host cities. Faisalabad and Peshawar will stage PSL fixtures for the first time, alongside Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi.
Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host the highest number of matches, with 15 games scheduled at the venue. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will stage 11 matches, while Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium is set to host seven.
The National Bank Stadium in Karachi will feature six matches, and Multan Cricket Stadium will host four. Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar will stage one fixture, a day match involving Peshawar Zalmi and RawalPindiz on March 28.
The schedule also includes 12 double-headers, adding to the packed calendar of PSL 11.
