PCB Unveils Stunning "Infinity Trophy" for Expanded PSL 11 Season

The Pakistan Super League lifted the curtain on its next chapter on Wednesday as officials revealed the new PSL 11 Infinity Trophy during a ceremony at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. The unveiling marked the formal start of preparations for the league’s 11th edition, with the striking new silverware.

The trophy was introduced through a short video shared across PSL’s official digital platforms. The PSL 11 Infinity Trophy features a sleek golden structure highlighted by embedded crystals that reflect light along the body of the design. Two curved golden arms rise from the sides and meet near the top, forming a crown-like finish that gives the trophy a distinctive silhouette.

At its summit sits a crescent and star, a nod to Pakistan’s national emblem. The crescent is studded with shimmering crystals while a metallic star rests above it, creating a symbolic centerpiece. The trophy is mounted on a black pedestal carrying PSL branding, completing a design that blends national identity with modern aesthetics.

According to details shared by the league, the trophy’s development required the efforts of 18 skilled artisans and more than 2,600 hours of craftsmanship before reaching its final form.

The unveiling also builds momentum toward the upcoming PSL 11 schedule, which promises to be the league’s most expansive season yet. Eight teams will compete in the tournament, including two new franchises, Pindiz and Hyderabad Kingsmen. It will feature 44 matches from March 26 to May 3.

Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will launch the season against Hyderabad Kingsmen in the opening fixture. Each team will play 10 matches in the group stage before the top four sides advance to the playoff rounds, consisting of Qualifier 1, Eliminator, and Qualifier 2, ahead of the final.

The PSL final is scheduled for May 3 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, with a reserve day set aside if required.
