The trade window for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been opened for one week, allowing all franchises to make player transfers accordingly. The PCB announced the opening of the PSL 11 trade window through an official press release, stating that all franchises can make transfers as per the tournament’s rules and regulations.
“The transfer window for the HBL Pakistan Super League 11 is open now and will remain open until Wednesday, 18 March during which franchises will be allowed to make player transfers in accordance with the tournament regulations and salary cap rules.” said the PCB statement.
The statement also highlighted that all transfers must be made within the given salary cap, and the final decision to approve the transfers will be taken by the PCB in line with the league’s regulations.
“All transfers must be completed within the salary cap of the respective franchises and any transfer will only be finalized once it is approved by the Pakistan Cricket Board in line with the HBL PSL 11 regulations.” said the PCB statement.
Meanwhile, the PCB also announced an exemption for Multan Sultans, stating that the franchise will receive an additional PKR 1.2 crore increase in their salary cap. Besides that, the board also allowed them to expand their PSL 2026 squad to up to 22 players with two additional signings.
"Due to the exceptional circumstances under which Multan Sultans were acquired, the franchise with the approval of the other teams has been granted an incremental PKR 1.2 crore increase in their salary cap, along with permission to make two additional signings, taking their maximum squad size to 22 players, although they will, like other teams be limited to a match day squad size of 20 players," said the PCB statement.
