KARACHI: PCB announced Pak Women T20I squad for the upcoming Pakistan vs Zimbabwe women T20I series, which will be played at the National Stadium from May 12 to 15. All three matches are scheduled to begin at 7:30pm local time.
Fatima Sana will continue to captain the side for the series. Pakistan head into the T20Is with momentum, having already sealed the ODI series against Zimbabwe women's national cricket team with one match still to play.
The squad includes two additions, with Amber Kainat and Saira Jabeen receiving their first call-ups in the format. Amber’s selection follows a strong showing in domestic competition, where she finished among the leading wicket-takers. Saira had previously been part of the wider setup during a recent overseas tour.
The rest of the group retains a familiar core, including experienced names such as Aliya Riaz, Muneeba Ali and Nashra Sundhu. The squad also features a mix of allround options and specialist bowlers as Pakistan prepare for the three-match series.
The team will be supported by a coaching group led by mentor and head coach Wahab Riaz, alongside specialists covering batting, bowling and fielding roles. A reserve pool has also been named to provide cover during the series.
The Pakistan vs Zimbabwe women series will follow a tight schedule in T20Is, with matches taking place on consecutive alternate days at the same venue:
