Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Eberechi Eze and Marc Guéhi will both start in the club’s UEFA Conference League playoff first leg against Fredrikstad, amid mounting transfer speculation.

Arsenal have agreed to a deal worth around £68 million. Despite the near move, Glasner praised his professionalism and commitment, insisting he’d play as long as he remains under contract. Arsenal’s willingness to let him feature in the playoff may give them an edge over Spurs.

Liverpool are the front-runners for the captain Marc Guéhi’s signature, though Palace’s £40 million valuation has yet to be met. Glasner lauded his leadership and dedication, too.

Goalkeeper Dean Henderson backed them both, calling them “committed and professional,” and confirming their value to the squad despite the uncertainty.

This is Crystal Palace’s first major European campaign. This was initially set for the Europa League, but they landed in the Conference League due to a UEFA rule breach involving multiclub ownership.

Palace are bracing for potential departures and already scouting replacements. Bilal El Khannouss, Christos Tzolis, Lloyd Kelly, and Hwang Hee-chan are among potential reinforcements being explored.
