Pakistan's Rashid Naseem sets Guinness World Record for most full-contact punches in three minutes

Pakistani martial artist Muhammad Rashid Naseem achieved an astonishing feat by shattering the Guinness World Record for most full-contact punch strikes in three minutes, landing 1,896 punches in Karachi.
Competing at the Pakistan Academy of Martial Arts, Naseem maintained a remarkable pace throughout the three-minute challenge. His total 1,896 punches, now stands as the official world record, showcasing both his extraordinary stamina and powerful precision.
Naseem’s accomplishment builds on an already extraordinary résumé. Since his first record in 2013 (fastest bottle-cap removals), he’s amassed over 125 Guinness World Records, including feats like crushing cans with his head and walnuts with elbows. A multi-disciplinary martial artist, he holds multiple black belts and has inspired many through his academy in Karachi.
His martial prowess has taken him beyond Pakistan, record-breaking stunts include smashing 39 cans with his head in 30 seconds and eliminating over 100 feat records across countries like Italy, China, Vietnam, and Egypt.
Several of his additional world records were approved in late 2024, bringing his total to 125 and spanning diverse categories like chopping chopsticks and smashing yardsticks with his head.
Naseem has confirmed plans to continue his record-setting journey, aiming toward 200 Guinness Records, despite citing limited government support. His daughter, Fatima, is already following in his footsteps, with a world record for elbow strikes, marking a family legacy.
Muhammad Rashid Naseem’s record-breaking 1,896 punches in three minutes isn’t just a testament to physical endurance, it’s proof of relentless dedication. As one of Pakistan’s most prolific martial artists, his streak of Guinness achievements is pushing boundaries and inspiring a new generation to pursue extraordinary feats.
