Colombo: Pakistan women's cricket team was heavily training in the Colombo Cricket Ground on Monday as they prepare to face England in their upcoming World Cup 2025 match. The Women in Green had more than three hours on the ground, training their fitness and skills, as well as the coordination of the team.
During the session, the players were taught how to field, run, and catch, after which they went to the nets to learn to bat and bowl.
The coaches also gave valuable tips to help in improving the individual skills and performance. The spirit was quite high during the camp, although the team seemed to be eager to turn their fortune around in the campaign.
Pakistan vs England match will be played on 15 October at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The game is a very vital one since Pakistan has not achieved its first win in the tournament.
Up to this point, Pakistan has been defeated by Bangladesh, India, and Australia, and is yet to make any points on the table. In the meantime, seven-time champions Australia topped the list after winning all four of their matches.
Pakistan women’s team is focused on recovering, and players are trying to remain confident in the upcoming matches.
