Pak vs Aus T20I Series Ends in 3-0 Sweep as Pakistan Whitewashed Australia with 111-Run 3rd T20I Win

Pakistan signed off the Pak vs Aus T20I series with a statement win in Lahore, sealing a 3-0 clean sweep after a dominant 111-run victory in the 3rd T20I at Gaddafi Stadium. A strong batting display led by Babar Azam and a destructive spell from Mohammad Nawaz proved too much for a struggling Australian side that never recovered after a poor start with the bat.

Chose to bat first, Pakistan piled up 207 for 6, their highest T20I total against Australia. and controlled the game from the powerplay onwards. Saim Ayub set the tempo with a stunning 56 off 30 balls, taking on the new ball. The innings then found its spine through Babar Azam, who struck an unbeaten 50 off 36 deliveries, pacing the middle overs.

Shadab Khan provided that surge. His 46 from 19 balls flipped a good total into a daunting one, with clean hitting down the ground and behind square, pushing Pakistan past the 200 mark.

Australia’s chase never got off the runway. Shaheen Afridi and Muhammad Nawaz ripped through the top order, reducing the visitors to 16 for 3 inside the first three overs. From there, the innings slipped into survival mode before Mohammad Nawaz shut the door completely.

The left-arm spinner returned figures of 5 for 18, mixing pace and angles to pick apart the middle and lower order. His spell included key wickets in clusters, removing set batters and tailenders alike. Only Marcus Stoinis and Cameron Green, both with 22, crossed the 20-run mark as Australia were bowled out for 96 in 16.5 overs.

The series result gives Pakistan a major confidence lift ahead of the global tournament season, with their batting depth and spin attack clicking at the right time. Pakistan whitewashed Australia and never allowed momentum to shift.
