Pakistan Set to Host Australia in Key T20I Series at Lahore

The Pakistan Cricket Board has already announced the dates of the upcoming Pakistan vs Australia T20I series. All these three games will be hosted at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on 29 January, 31 January, and on 1 February. All the matches will be played in the evening.

The toss will take place at 5.30 pm PST, with the first ball scheduled for 6pm PST it will be the first ball. The T20I team of Australia is expected to arrive in Lahore on Wednesday, 28 January, leaving Australia with little time to prepare before the first game.

The series holds added significance as both teams will use it to prepare for the ICC Men's T20I World Cup 2026. Pakistan is in Group A and Australia is in Group B, respectively. The matches will help both sides refine combinations and strategies.

It will be Australia's third visit to Pakistan since March and April 2022, with the previous Test, ODI, and T20I matches in addition to three ICC Champions Trophy 2025 games held in the country. Australia, too, has had good experiences in the venue; they secured a three-wicket win in their lone T20I played in Gaddafi Stadium on 5 April 2022.
