Pakistan’s ODI squad began preparations with an optional training session at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, under the supervision of head coach Mike Hesson and his staff. The 15-member squad, which arrived on Tuesday from Florida, took part in a focused three-hour drill session featuring batting nets, bowling routines, and intensive fielding practice.
Adobe footwork, throwing drills, and catching work featured prominently in the session ahead of the series opener on 8 August. The team is set to resume full training at 1:30 PM local time on Thursday.
All three matches will be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad & Tobago.
Note: Fakhar Zaman was ruled out of the remaining West Indies tour with a hamstring strain and will undergo rehabilitation. Replacement discussions are underway.
