DOHA: The Pakistan Shaheens arrived on Wednesday to participate in the ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 that begins on November 14 at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium.

The Shaheens will begin their campaign with a match against Oman on the opening day, led by middle-order batter Muhammad Irfan Khan. Their initial training session will be on Tuesday at 10 am local time, during which they will fine-tune preparations for the eight-nation T20 tournament.

The Rising Stars Asia Cup brings together some of the most exciting young talent from across Asia. Pakistan is placed in Group B alongside Oman, India ‘A’, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), while Group A features Afghanistan ‘A’, Bangladesh ‘A’, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka ‘A’.

After facing Oman, the team will take on India ‘A’ on November 16 in one of the most anticipated matches of the tournament. They will complete the group phase against the UAE on November 18.

The two best teams in each group play the semi-finals on November 21, while the final is scheduled for November 23.

The team held a four-day training camp at the Hanif Muhammad High Performance Centre in Karachi from November 8 to 11 before departing for Qatar. The camp focused on improving skills and fitness under the close supervision of the coaching staff, ensuring the team’s readiness for the tournament.
