In the first innings of the high-stakes clash at Dubai, Pakistan has scored 171 runs against India. The green shirts are playing their first Super Four match against India, so they will be hoping to win this one to get a strong start. The Pakistan team came into the game with two changes. They brought in Hussain Talat and Faheem Ashraf in place of Hasan Nawaz and Khushdil Shah for this crucial Dubai clash.

After winning the toss, India decided to bowl first. They also made two changes to their squad by including Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy in place of Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana. By making these two changes, India bolstered their bowling perfectly.

After putting in to bat first, Pakistan made a strong start. Surprisingly, Pakistan also changed its opening pair for today’s game. They brought the experienced Fakhar Zaman back to the opening alongside Sahibzada Farhan on the other end. The duo gave a strong start to the Pakistan team by hitting Indian bowlers all over the park.

Sahibzada Farhan was especially impressive in today’s game, as he took down the Indian bowlers from the start of the innings. His brilliant hitting against Bumrah made the headlines in the first innings. The opener repeatedly attacked the Indian bowlers, making sure to not allow them to settle in the game.

Due to great batting, Sahibzada Farhan scored a splendid 58 off 45 balls. He hit 5 fours and 3 sixes in his superlative knock against India.

After getting a good start, Pakistan lost the momentum during the middle overs. This was largely done due to tight bowling by Indian spinners. They once again squeezed the scoring rate after the ball started to grip in the wicket. The inexperienced middle order of the green shirts came into pressure, and lost quick wickets due to that.

However, some late order push by Mohammad Nawaz and Faheem Ashraf allowed Pakistan to come back into the game. Both played with aggressive intent and hit several boundaries to lift the scoring rate.

Pakistan has now scored 171 at the end of first innings. This is a formidable total against India, however, a strong bowling performance is required to defend it in the second innings of the game.
