Pakistan’s National T20 Cup Final Date Narrowed Down to June 6 or 7

The final of the National T20 Cup 2025-26 between Karachi Whites and Abbottabad is now expected to be played on June 6 or 7 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. It is going to be a tough contest, as both teams have many talented players who can single-handedly win the game.

For the unversed, the National T20 Cup final was first set for March 18, but it had to be moved because of continuous rain. Since PSL 2026 began on March 26, the PCB decided to postpone the match, and said that the new date and time will be announced later.

This year’s National T20 Cup was held at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar to test the stadium’s facilities ahead of its first PSL match, which was planned between Peshawar Zalmi and Rawalpindi.

Unfortunately, the match had to be shifted from that stadium because the government's fuel-saving drive forced the PCB to change the schedule. As a result, this year’s PSL was limited to Lahore and Karachi only.

Talking about the National T20 Cup 2026, Both Karachi Whites and Abbottabad finished at the top of their groups to reach the knockout stage. Karachi Whites beat Sialkot by five wickets to book their place in the final, while Abbottabad advanced over Lahore Whites on points since the second semi-final was abandoned due to rain.

The upcoming final between these two teams is eagerly awaited by many fans, as the contest will produce high-quality cricket. Karachi Whites are certainly looking favorites to win this year’s title, but Abbottabad also have a strong side capable of putting up a tough fight in the all-important final.
