Pakistan Beat Australia in 2nd T20I; Won by 90 Runs in Lahore

Pakistan’s bowling attack set the tone early. Abrar Ahmed emerged as the star, claiming 3 crucial wickets for just 14 runs in 3 overs, putting Australia under immediate pressure. Shadab Khan supported with a brilliant 3/26 in 4 overs, while Usman Tariq and Mohammad Nawaz also chipped in with key breakthroughs.

Marsh fell lbw to Abrar Ahmed for 18 off 14 balls, and Head was trapped by Saim Ayub for 4 runs. Cameron Green top-scored for Australia with 35 off 20 deliveries, but there was little resistance from the rest of the lineup.

The visitors never recovered from the early setbacks. Josh Inglis (5), Matt Renshaw (2), and Cooper Connolly (1) all failed to make an impact, leaving Australia in a precarious position at 54/5. Extras and DRS reviews did little to stem Pakistan’s dominance.

Pakistan’s bowlers maintained a tight economy, giving away only 6.50 runs per over in the middle phase and applying consistent pressure. By the 16th over, Australia bowled out for 108, handing Pakistan a massive 90-run victory.

The 2nd T20I win gave Pakistan a 2-0 series sweep and boosted confidence for the upcoming T20 World Cup. With strong performances in both bowling and batting, Pakistan sent a clear warning to other nations in this high-profile Pak vs Aus T20I series.
