PAK vs ENG 3rd Test: Who Will Win The Series?

The Pakistan vs England 3rd and final test is underway in full swing. The series decider will be played from 24th-28th October. 

England won the 1st test with an innings and 47 runs, opening the series on a high note. Fortunately, Pakistan bounced back in the 2nd game, thanks to the new pair of spin bowling, Noman Ali and Sajid Khan. 

Now it’s time for the 3rd and last match of the series. The winner of this match will obviously take the trophy back with them. 

England won the toss and decided to bat first. Odds suggested that the team that will win the toss will have the highest chances of winning the match. 

However, the reality was quite different. Despite taking a comparatively better start, English batsmen couldn’t stand the likes of Noman Ali and Sajid Khan, who collectively took 9 wickets in the 1st innings. 

Pakistan managed to finish England’s 1st innings at 267. Initially, this target didn’t look too big or too difficult to be met, but remember, it’s Pakistan we’re talking about. 

Abdullah Shafique and Saim Ayub opened the innings, but soon both of them lost their wickets before the total had reached 50. 

Next in line to return to the pavilion was everyone’s favorite Kamran Ghulam. After a loss of three early wickets, captain Shan Masood and vice captain Saud Shakeel provided some stability to the innings and took the game from 46/3 to 99/4. 

Saud Shakeel is standing tall on the crease and taking the match forward ball by ball. Pakistan is now 179/7, trailing by 88 runs.

Only time will tell if the Men in Green will be able to cross the finish line or succumb to the English spinners.
