Kamil Khan, owner of Pakistan Champions, has affirmed that his team fully deserved their place in the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025 final, after India Champions withdrew from their scheduled semi-final match in Birmingham.
In an exclusive interview with Geo News, Khan assured that there was no disappointment over the semi-final cancellation. Emphasising Pakistan’s undefeated run in the group stage
Khan also confirmed that Pakistan Champions were awarded the full two points for the fixture after India’s pull-out, under tournament rules.
Earlier, he had signalled that if both teams were to qualify for the semifinals, the organisers would ensure they would not face each other at that stage. This stance was reiterated after India’s official withdrawal.
