Norway vs Denmark 2026 Preview Teams Lineups and Key Players

Norway face Denmark on Thursday in the opening match of the 2026-27 UEFA Nations League. The League A Group A4 meeting starts both teams' six-match campaign, with Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard  among the key players for Norway.

Morten Hjulmand is among the players to watch for Denmark after moving to Atlético Madrid. UEFA also highlighted Mads Bidstrup, Viktor Bak, Thomas Jørgensen and Andreas Jungdal as players who could be in contention for senior international debuts during the campaign. 

The fixture also carries some history, although the teams have not met in a competitive match for 15 years. Their most recent competitive meeting came in September 2011, when Denmark won 2-0 in a UEFA EURO qualifying match.
