Airee, Kami Stars as Nepal Crush Scotland by 7 Wickets in T20 World Cup 2026

Nepal completed a dominant victory over Scotland by 7 wickets in the latest ICC T20 World Cup clash. Dipendra Singh Airee played a key role for Nepal by playing a rapid knock of 50 runs in the second innings. Due to that, Nepal chased down a big target of 171 in the last over of the match for the loss of just 3 wickets.

Batting first, Scotland got off to a strong start, as both openers took down the Nepal attack convincingly in the Powerplay. Michael Jones was the star batter as he scored the majority of the boundaries to put early pressure on Nepal. He got out after scoring a brilliant 71 runs, giving Scotland a foundation to post a big total.

The middle order of Scotland then stumbled towards the end of the innings, as Nepal’s bowlers kept things tight to halt the scoring rate. As a result, they picked up regular wickets and managed to restrict Scotland to 170 in the first innings. Sompal Kami was the pick of the bowlers, as he took three wickets while conceding just 25 runs.
