Mohammad Rizwan Opts to Bat as RawalPindiz Face Multan Sultans in Karachi

KARACHI: Rawalpindi Pindiz captain Mohammad Rizwan has won the toss and elected to bat first in tonight’s crucial PSL 2026 encounter against the Multan Sultans, led by Ashton Turner, at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Rizwan expressed his desire to put a massive total on the board and test the Sultans' chasing ability under the lights. Despite the potential for evening dew, the Pindiz management believes that setting a scoreboard-pressure target of 190+ is their best path to securing their first win of a challenging season.

Ashton Turner noted at the toss that he would have preferred to bowl first anyway to exploit any early moisture in the pitch. He emphasized that his bowling unit, which has been the most clinical in the tournament, is ready to restrict the Pindiz openers.
