Multan vs Lahore Live: Lahore Openers Blitz Multan Sultans in Rain-Shortened 13-Over After Powerplay

A rain-truncated 13-over match at Gaddafi Stadium has transformed the highly anticipated PSL 11 encounter.  After a significant delay, Multan skipper Ashton Turner won the toss and elected to bowl, hoping to exploit the damp conditions.

However, the decision backfired early as Lahore’s makeshift opening pair, Parvez Hossain Emon and Muhammad Naeem, unleashed a brutal assault. Emon, in particular, looked untouchable, racing to 45 off just 18 deliveries. 

Despite the absence of the suspended Fakhar Zaman, the Qalandars reached a commanding 86/0 within the first five overs, putting the unbeaten Sultans on the back foot.

With Multan eyeing the top spot on the table and Lahore desperate to climb the spot, the shortened format has left no room for error. All eyes now remain on whether Multan’s star-studded attack can stem the flow in the closing overs.
