Lucknow Super Giants defeated Kolkata Knight Riders in a thrilling fashion, as Mukul Choudhary played a fine cameo in the end to seal the chase. Due to his strong hitting, LSG won the match by 3 wickets, securing 5th position on the IPL 2026 points table.
Batting first, Kolkata Knight Riders managed to score 181, as Ajinkya Rahane and Angkrish Raghuvanshi played strong knocks to give their team a fighting total. Both batters formed a big partnership after the wicket of Finn Allen, who scored just 9 runs. This allowed KKR to come back into the match before Digvesh Rathi removed Rahane for 41 runs.
